Your information matters.
Saddle is built around a simple principle: your business information should remain under your control.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Saddle Technologies Ltd collects, why we use it, who we may share it with and the choices and rights available to you.
Privacy isn’t an extra feature. It’s part of how Saddle is designed.
No mandatory bank connection
You do not need to connect a bank account or provide Saddle with a continuous feed of your banking transactions simply to use the app.
You choose what you add
Saddle is designed around the business records you choose to enter, such as invoices, expenses, receipts and mileage.
We only collect what we need
Where we collect personal information to provide Saddle, operate the website or respond to support requests, we aim to keep that collection relevant to the purpose.
1. Who we are
Saddle is operated by Saddle Technologies Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom.

4. Information about other people
Saddle allows you to enter information relating to clients, contractors or other people where this is necessary for your business records and invoices.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate reason to collect, use and enter that information into Saddle, and for meeting any data protection obligations that apply to your own business.
5. Receipt scanning and document processing
Saddle may allow you to photograph or upload receipts and other supporting documents. Information contained in those images may be processed to help extract and organise expense information.
Receipt images and extracted information are used to provide the features you request and to maintain your business records.
6. Mileage and route information
If you use Saddle’s mileage features, Saddle may process journey details such as start points, destinations, distances and saved routes.
Route information may be processed using third-party mapping or routing services where required to calculate a journey.
7. Support enquiries
When you submit a support request through getsaddle.uk, we process the information you provide so that we can investigate the issue and respond to you.
Support requests submitted through the website are processed using Brevo. Brevo may store information submitted through the form and generate an internal notification so that the Saddle team knows a support request has been received.
Do not include passwords, banking login details or other sensitive credentials in a Saddle support request.
8. Beta access and optional communications
If you provide your email address to apply for beta access, we may use it to manage your participation and send information directly related to that beta.
If Saddle offers newsletters, launch updates or marketing communications, these will be treated separately. Where consent is required, we will ask for it and you may withdraw that consent.

- Consent — where we specifically ask for your consent for an optional form of processing such as certain marketing communications.
11. Saddle Brain and automated processing
Saddle may automatically organise records or generate estimates using information recorded within the app, including estimated tax information through features such as Saddle Brain.
These outputs are intended to provide information and assistance. Saddle does not currently use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
